The wrestling squad placed in all 13 of their events at Sections, advanced seven to state and earned team Academic Gold. One athlete also earned Academic All-State.

Westonka offers 3 amazing, 2-week Summer Institute programs: China & global business, Costa Rica & earth sciences, and Peru & ancient civilizations.

Westonka offers a full varsity sports program. This year's girls hockey team competed in its first-ever state tournament. Club sports like Alpine ski are also available.

The MWHS Wind Ensemble earned Superior ratings from all three judges at this year's Region 2AA Contest.

Madd Jazz earned a Superior rating at this year's Region 2AA solo/ensemble contest. MWHS vocalists earned a total of 11 Superiors, 10 Excellents and one “Best in Site.”

Westonka's award-winning DECA program had 77 students compete at the state level and sent 15 to Internationals this year.

Westonka offers Advanced Placement art courses and boasts MN Scholastic Art Awards year after year: 2 Gold Keys, 2 Silver Keys & 2 Honorable Mentions in 2013.

Six members of the 2012 fall musical, “My Fair Lady,” received SpotLight Awards for their performances.
